Today’s gift guide is for the the bookworm in your life! The one who always has their nose in a book and whose to be read list is a mile long. My mom is a retired librarian, so of course I had to create a gift guide for book lovers like her. If you know someone who’s passionate about books and spends most of their free time reading, check out my gift ideas for bookworms below!
Gift Ideas for the Bookworm
Personal Embosser – $40
If they don’t already have their own library stamp, gift them this beautiful personal embosser! It can be customized to include their name, and they’ll have so much fun stamping all their books.
Banned Books Mug – $12
If they love books, there’s a good chance they feel strongly about the banned book movement. This mug is a fun way to show their solidarity! When the mug isn’t full, the book names appear crossed out – but add a hot drink, and the names will appear.
Book Club Keychain – $18
This keychain would be a great stocking stuffer for your favorite bookworm. It features six classic titles and they’ll love how it adds a little flair to their keychain.
Conscious Step Socks – $35
Conscious Step socks partner with Room to Read to provide 3 free books to kids with each purchase of a box of socks. The subtle embroidered book design is perfect for book lovers, and they’ll love knowing that this gift supports a great cause.
Audible Subscription – $45
The perfect gift for the book lover who prefers audio books! Gift them a 3-month Audible subscription so they can listen to as many books as their heart desires.
Ideal Bookshelf Custom Print – $105
Find out what their favorite books are and surprise them with their own personalized ideal bookshelf print! They’ll love how much thought you put into it and it’ll look beautiful displayed in their home.
Kindle Paperwhite – $140
In my opinion, this is the best gift you can get for a book lover who travels often. Rather than lugging around multiple heavy books on every trip, they can simply pack their Kindle and have a world of books at their fingertips. They can even use the Libby app to check out books to read on their kindle from their local library!
Book of the Month Club Subscription – $60
The perfect gift for the reader who reads multiple books per month. Book of the month features 5-7 monthly reads and subscribers can pick the one they want each month! You can gift them a 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month subscription.
Book Enamel Pins – $13
For the one who wants everyone to know about their love of books, gift them this fun set of enamel book pins. They’ll love wearing these on their favorite jacket!
“It’s a Good Day to Read” Coffee Glass – $25
This coffee glass is the perfect thoughtful gift for the bookworm who also loves a good iced coffee! My best friend gifted me a similar glass for my birthday last year and I love that it makes drinking an iced latte feel like a little luxury.
Clip On Book Light – $13
This little book light will clip right on to their book so they can easily read without turning on the overhead lights. The light has an amber glow so it’s not too harsh – perfect for reading a chapter of a book before bed!
Library Cards Stone Coaster Set – $40
For the book lover who’s passionate about libraries, consider gifting them this fun set of stone library card coasters. They’ll love displaying these on their coffee table!
Book Page Holder – $14
This little gadget is one of those things that they probably wouldn’t buy themselves, but would find super useful! It makes it easier to keep their book open even when reading with one hand.
If you know they love books but aren’t sure which ones are on their TBR list, consider a Bookshop gift card! You can feel good about this gift knowing that every purchase on the site financially supports independent bookstores.
Collectible Edition Book – $25
For the one whose favorite book is a classic, show them how well you know them by gifting them a collectible edition of their favorite book! Barnes & Noble has pretty collectible editions of tons of classics, or if you feel like a splurge you can look for a first edition at a specialty bookstore.
