GIFT GUIDE: FOR THE INTERIOR DESIGN LOVER

Today’s gift guide is for the interior design lover in your life! As someone who loves all things interior design, I thought I’d include a few tips for shopping for your favorite interior design lover alongside this gift guide. Interior design aficionados can be tough to shop for because they usually have a very particular style. However, I find that there are certain tried-and-true items that all interior design lovers would be thrilled to receive as gifts. My top tip is to avoid artwork or anything that would hang on a wall – that’s a big commitment and so subject to a person’s individual taste. Instead, focus on pretty versions of everyday items or small tabletop accent decor that can serve other purposes (for example, trays and decorative boxes). Interior design lovers tend to enjoy the little luxuries in life and finding ways to make everything around them more aesthetically pleasing. If you know someone who’s passionate about interior design and always rearranging a room or restyling their shelves, check out the gift guide below for my gift ideas for the interior design lover!

Gift Ideas for the Interior Design Lover

Dual Handled Vase – $20

Darian got me this vase for Christmas a couple of years ago and I just love it so much! It’s on the smaller side, so it’s perfect for making a bathroom or powder room feel more upscale, but would also look great displayed on a shelf with some pretty dried florals.

Match Cloche – $36

For the interior design lover who has a large stash of candles (guilty), gift them this match cloche! The fluting on the glass cloche makes it feel a bit more special, and they’ll think of you every time they light their favorite candle.

Metal Easel – $40

Give them a new way to display their favorite art with a high quality metal easel! This easel is perfect for the one who is always switching up their art – they won’t need to put any holes in the wall that they’ll have to patch over later.

Found Clay Jar – $165

If you’re looking to splurge on someone who loves interior design, you can’t go wrong with a bespoke vase. This antique clay jar is so substantial, and the color is neutral enough that it would fit in with any home style.

Tuesday Made Amber Candle – $32

I’ve said it before, but I really do think a candle is one of those universal gifts that anyone would love to receive. For the interior design lover in your life, gift them this beautiful candle that looks much more expensive than it is.

Horn Tray – $29

A decorative tray is the perfect gift for anyone who loves interior design – they’re so versatile and level up any vignette. I have a horn tray like this one in our main bathroom and I love how elevated it makes the shelves feel!

Woven Tissue Box Cover – $25

Interior design aficionados are all about making everyday items prettier – and this woven tissue box cover does just that! They’ll love how this makes a simple household item feel more well-designed.

Kitchen Sink Styling Gift Box – $85

Any of the beautiful gift boxes from Tuesday Made would make a great gift, but I especially love this one for someone who’s interested in interior design. It’s something they’ll use every day, and they’ll love how it elevates their kitchen sink area.

Burlwood Picture Frame – $40

Even the most avid interior designer might not buy a pricier frame themselves, but they’d definitely love receiving this as a gift. Make it feel a little more sentimental by including a photo of the two of you!

Turkish Hand Towel – $18

These Turkish hand towels are wildly popular among the interior design community, and for good reason! There are tons of colors and patterns to choose from, and they’ll make any bathroom feel more luxurious.

Handmade Oil Bottle – $37

This handmade oil bottle would be a great gift for someone who loves both interior design and cooking! It comes in two stoneware glaze colors (I prefer the sand) and they’ll absolutely love displaying it on their counter.

Woven Rattan Box Set – $123

I love items that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, and this woven rattan box set fits the bill perfectly. These will look great displayed on their shelves, and as an added bonus they can be used to store everyday items like office supplies.

Clawfoot Pedestal Dish – $31

I purchased this for myself a couple of years ago and it’s one of my favorite little accents in our home! This brass clawfoot pedestal dish is brimming with character and it’s the perfect size to display a candle on top.

Decorative Marble Bowl – $28

They can never have too many decorative bowls! Marble is such a classic material and this bowl feels luxurious, but the price point is great.

Made For Living Coffee Table Book – $22

I have dozens of coffee table books and this one is my favorite of the bunch. It’s filled with gorgeous photos and great interior design tips. They’ll love flipping through the pages to gain inspiration, and it’ll look great displayed on their coffee table!
